Olive The Things

Next up on my Small Shop Series is the cutest shop for your littles! Olive The Things is one of the cutest shops I have ever seen! In fact, I really wish they made clothes in my size! I would even embrace the snaps in the crotch for these adorable rompers.  Also, I think I need to take that idea to the Shark Tank.  Adult clothes with crotch snaps. Think of how convenient it would be to use the restroom!

Actually, now that I think of it, Victoria’s Secret may have already patented something similar … ? Anyway! Moving on.

Kimberly, the owner and master seamstress over at Olive The Things sent me a couple coordinating pieces for Nora and Gwen to wear while in Mexico.  I got them in the mail a couple weeks before we left for our trip and it took every ounce of self-control not to try them on myself put the girls in them before our trip.  It felt like, back in the day, (because I’m so old now) when I’d go school clothes shopping and I had to constantly remind myself that those new clothes were not to be worn until the first day of school. Even though my pre-existing wardrobe was no longer tolerable.  Like, I wouldn’t even donate those offensive threads to the thrift shop.  What is it about shopping that makes your current clothes insta-suck?  This still happens to me.  My current home decor insta-sucks when I visit Hobby Lobby and even my groceries are out of style when I go to the grocery store.  And don’t even get me started on makeup.  I step foot in Sephora and nothing in my vanity is worthy of applying on my face. Like, no way, no how.  And then – since I’m already inside Sephora it would be silly to leave without replenishing that sad excuse for a makeup collection.  It’s a curse.

Ok – back to the point. (But Sephora, if you want to be featured in my Small Shop series, send me an e-mail. I think I may be able to make an exception since you’re not technically “small”…)  Before I left for Mexico, it was still summer.  All things pineapple and neon colors! And these pineapple outfits were perfect for Los Cabos and my tan skinned babies!  But then I get home and it’s all the sudden fall.  All things pineapple and spice and .. guys, I’m not joking, I heard someone listening to Christmas music the other day. No joke!! … Ok, it was me.

So ladies, put down your pumpkin spice lattes a minute and rewind one week.  Behold these adorable summer outfits! The quality of this romper is beyond anything I could ever do, first of all, and secondly, better than anything homemade I’ve ever seen (and better than most things “factory/china made”.  I love the contrasting fabrics. They compliment each other so perfectly.  The detail on this piece is top notch. Not second to top, but literally, the toppest notch available for rating.  Top notch!

Since it became Autumn overnight last week, she now has all her sweaters and sweat sets in her shop! You need to see them!  AND .. drum roll please …  if you want a chance to win one – you need to head on over to my Instagram where we’ve partnered up for a giveaway! All you have to do is follow both our accounts and tag at least 2 friends.  Easy as pie.  Pumpkin pie to be exact. I seriously love pumpkin pie guys. It’s my favorite and I can’t wait to consume some real soon!

Thanks Kimberly for the cute outifts! Can’t wait to get some sweat sets for the girls and myself!

Thanks for reading lovelies!

xoxo Gossip Girl … (tears of laughter emoji because I’m that funny)
