Have you guys heard of LulaRoe? If you haven’t … where have you been? They have the cutest dresses, leggings, skirts and tops! I’ve been vibing LulaRoe for a while now. Literally, for Chrstimas, I bought some Lula dresses for myself, wrapped them, and labeled them from Santa. And you better believe I was as excited as a Who in Whoville when I opened them.

If you guys could see how long it’s taking me to type this post you’d die. Truth is I am trying to simultaneously watch The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All and I’ve decided that this is not a show you watch when you are trying to multi-task. So can we just talk about Chad for a second? Who’s loving him right now? “You’re pocket square doesn’t match your shirt”. (insert tears of laughter emoji) Also, Evan totally pushed Chad. Just saying. If you haven’t watched it – just put this post on hold and reunite me with tears of laughter after satisfying your trash TV craving.

Ok, back to LulaRoe. So, seriously, their leggings are like butter. And who doesn’t love butter on their legs? My favorite things about LulaRoe are #1 – their pieces are modest! Modesty is essential to my wardrobe. It can honestly be a struggle to find modest dresses and shirts. Especially outside of Utah. Extra especially in Florida where all everyone wears is swimsuits and workout clothes. But I know that with LulaRoe, I am getting something that is going to cover my under pants. And my modesty mole. Anybody else have a modesty mole? It’s one that God strategically placed on my chest so that with one quick glance downward, I would know if my blouse would receive my parents approval back in my rebellious days. By the way, my rebellious days started way back in 1st grade when I wore a slip to school. I literally. Wore. A. Slip. To. School. What happened is a girl in my class had this super fancy, white dress with lace trim and my first grade self envied her. With my whole heart. I needed to be her. So, one morning, when my nanny Clamencia (that’s not made up – that was legitimately her name .. there’s probably an accent somewhere on there but I don’t speak spanish so you get the english version) wasn’t there to walk me to the bus stop, I saw my opportunity and I took it. Dressed in nothing but a slip – a sheer lacy slip that is supposed to be worn ONLY when placed underneath a dress. Nevertheless, I wore it by itself. That’s Jamie Ruesch for you guys. The original Rebel. So, with that being said, LulaRoe is modesty mole and parents approved! (pound it emoji).
The #2 reason I love LulaRoe is that their prints are so unique! As much as I love showing up to church in the same dress from Jane.com as my fellow church-going gals, I sometimes like the thrill of standing alone in a unique print! Call me crazy, but you already know .. I’m a rebel. They always have new prints that you won’t see on everybody else! It’s so fun that all the different consultants have their own inventory completely different from the next one. They have prints and styles for everyone.
I’ve teamed up with Ashley Hunt for a giveaway of a Julia dress! I’m wearing the Julia in this photoshoot. It’s my absolute favorite style. It can be so casual or dressed up for more of a fancy occasion .. like grocery shopping, or changing a tire you know? If you’d like to enter to win this dress – head over to my Instagram account (@jamieericksen)! It’s an easy entry! If you’ve got a cell phone and fingers you can do it! If you don’t have either – e-mail me. I know someone that has both and can help you enter.
Thanks for reading ladies and gentlemen! And stay tuned for my post next week – hopefully I don’t try to type it up while I am watching the finale of The Bachelorette. That would be a hot mess.
