Rumor has it that fall is around the corner. You wouldn’t know it in my neighborhood – where you literally have beads of sweat dripping down your face walking from your car into the grocery store .. that’s how I get my CARdio if you catch my drift. If I’m sweating, I just call that my workout for the day. And I’m always sweating. So … ipso facto I’m basically in the best shape of my life. Florida humidity for the win.
Last weekend it was pretty stormy here. And with the AC turned to 71 and Curious George Halloween Boo Fest playing on the TV, it almost felt like fall. We get pretty jipped here when it comes to seasons. The kids who grew up here probably don’t even know there are, in fact, 4 of them. There are like 8 months of Summer, 2 days of Fall, 4 months of Winter, and 7 hours of Spring. But hey, we’ve got the beach! I’m gonna be spending the Fall months in Utah this year and I’m already so excited! Pumpkin flavored everything! Tunics and leggings and all the heart eyes! I’ll finally be able to purchase a hot chocolate for consumption rather than purchasing it solely to post a picture to instagram!

It’s totally versatile making it great for the 2-4 different seasons your state may offer. I am so in love with florals right now if you couldn’t tell. They’re my jam. For now, I need to focus on the current everlasting season of summer! And my goal of getting a tan … a goal I have been working on for 2 years straight now. I’m sure this state is ready to rid themselves of me and my inglorious skin tone. I am like a walking false advertisement of Florida and all it has to offer. I belong in the closet with Howie from The Benchwarmers.

Skirt: Target Now .. Don’t laugh at me but I got this in the little girls section. It’s not the first time I’ve shopped in little girls, but usually I wear their L or XL. This skirt is a M and is still kind of big. I would venture to say the M fits sizes 0-2 and the L would probably fit 4-6 and XL 6-8. It’s really stretchy! And it’s only $19.99! Definitely worth a shot!
