You know, by now, that we are a military family. If you’re new here, Hi! We’re an Air Force family currently living abroad in the UK!
Military life comes with its challenges. One of the biggest challenges being, moving. A lot. Like, all the time.

Moving a lot means redecorating, over and over and over again. Making each new house a home. Making old furniture in new spaces. And buying new throw pillows … obviously.
I actually love moving. Except for the 3 months leading up to a move and the 6 months of unpacking that follow. Other than that I really enjoy living in new places, designing new spaces, meeting new friends. And of course, creating a home.
Making each new room fit the people who occupy it can be challenging. But my favorite way to liven up a room is removable wallpaper.

Removable wallpaper is genius. It’s like a huge sticker that comes right off when you’re ready to pack up all your stuff and PCS to a new state … or country.
When I am shopping for removable wallpaper, I always shop at Coloray Decor. They have such an incredible inventory of gorgeous prints to fit any decor style. Florals, boho, geometric, stripes, you name it.
It’s so easy to apply, you can view my tutorial here. It’s so easy to remove. And it’s renter-friendly which is important in the military when you may or may not be moving a lot.
Nora and Gwen love sharing a room. Which I really appreciate since I’m not willing to give up my school room! But they were ready for a slightly more “grown up” room in our new house. I loved involving them in choosing their new wallpaper. Much more fun than involving them in the application. Which lasted about 5 minutes.
I love the way their room turned out. The perfect amount of English charm, mixed with fun girly vibes.
